Chainsaw Course
Chainsaws are as helpful as they are dangerous. In this two-day course you'll be taught the correct and above all safe use of the chainsaw. In addition to the most important basic knowledge on handling, maintenance, and care, as well as ergonomic working posture, you'll get to know the most important felling cuts and delimbing techniques.
This course is not only for aspiring arborists, but also ideal for (hobby) gardeners, forest owners, and all those who use a chainsaw.
To bring: cut-protection trousers and cut-protection boots, helmet with face and hearing protection; if available: chainsaw and felling tools.
This course fulfills the requirements of §14 ASchG, according to which employees must be instructed annually in the use of the chainsaw.

Requirements
Minimum age 18 years
What to Bring
- Cut-protection trousers
- Cut-protection boots (S3 safety shoes are not sufficient!)
- Arborist helmet with hearing and face protection
- Chainsaw (if available)
- Felling tools (if available)
- Weather-appropriate clothing (the course takes place outdoors)
