GETTING STARTED IN TREE WORK

Not sure if tree climbing is the right thing for you? Just give it a try – our introductory climbing taster course gives you a first impression, with no prior experience needed and no pressure.

Those who want to get started right away begin with the basics of tree care and safe chainsaw handling.

The basic concept

• Introductory climbing taster course – half-day course. Just give it a try – no prerequisites, no prior experience needed.
• Basics of tree care – 2-day course. Prerequisites: none (anyone with a horticultural or forestry qualification is considered already qualified and can skip this course)
• Chainsaw course – 2-day course. Prerequisites: none. The course is open to everyone and provides the mandatory proof of competence for SKT B.

Our courses take place primarily in 2281 Raasdorf near Vienna, unless otherwise indicated.

To round off and refresh the training, we hold a Tree Symposium twice a year, as well as numerous additional courses and workshops throughout the year.
