ETW Exam

ETW Exam – European Tree Worker
The European Tree Worker exam can also be taken without our preparatory training programs – provided the admission criteria of the European Arboricultural Council (EAC) are met.

Resit exam: Not all parts passed? No problem – failed exam parts can be retaken a maximum of 2 times within 2 years. If the last exam was more than 2 years ago, the entire exam must be repeated.

Registration deadline: 2 months before the exam date in each case.

Requirements

  • Valid occupational health examination for "work at heights with risk of falling"
  • 16-hour first aid certificate (no more than 4 years old)
  • Proof of at least 1 year of practical tree care experience with climbing and/or aerial work platform skills
  • ETW climbing: valid SKT B certificate
  • ETW platform: valid HUB certificate (Module I + II)

All details on admission criteria, exam rules, and exam procedure can be found directly at the EAC: here.
