Rescue Training
An emergency requires fast and efficient response – and that only works through routine. Anyone who wants to act correctly under stress and time pressure must have a perfect command of the tree rescue procedure. This is achieved through regular training.
With this 4-hour course you fulfill the annually required instruction prescribed by the legislator according to §14 ASchG. At the same time, the rescue training serves as proof of recertification for SKT A, B, C, and aerial work platform certifications.
Course Content
- Rescue scenarios from the tree – climbing and from the aerial work platform
- Rescue procedures under time pressure
- Practical exercises with own PPE
- Refreshing and consolidating rescue techniques
Requirements
- Valid SKT A certificate or valid HUB certificate
For simultaneous renewal of SKT / HUB certifications, additionally bring:
- Copy of the SKT or HUB certificate or card
- Valid occupational health examination for "work at heights with risk of falling"
- Valid 16-hour first aid certificate (no more than 4 years old; refresher courses are fine)
What to Bring
- Own PPE (complete and inspected)
- Certificates (see prerequisites)
This course is also creditable as a continuing education hour for the recertification of ETW / Arborist according to ONR 121122 and ETT / Tree Technician according to ONR 121122.
The course can be booked at a preferred date from 4 participants onward – and in many cases also at a preferred location.
